Hi, I'm Jennifer, I created this site with a group of Licensed, K-12 Intervention Specialists. I also hold a Master's Degree in Education Administration. I have spent 13 yrs in Education working in Urban and Suburban School Districts, serving students on IEP's in Self -Contained Classes and Inclusion Classes. I served as a union rep in a very large urban district and I have seen and heard it all when it comes to the Special Education Programs. 

Intervention Adventures was created because of the constant demand of modifying the general curriculum and finding supplemental activities to accommodate our special kiddos; while aligning with the Common Core Standards.

As we know, most Intervention Specialists have large case loads, covering multiple grade levels, subjects, and varying skill levels. All of this on top of writing the IEP's, attending all of the necessary meetings, completing ongoing progress reports and collecting data data data...
